SAINT ANDREW, HERMIT
Saint Andrew, commemorated on July 17, May 1, and July 16, was a confessor of the faith who is venerated particularly in Poland and Hungary. He is the same person as Saint Zoerard (Zoerardus). The Roman Martyrology for the Order of the Camaldolese*, as well as the Proprium for Poland and Sweden, lists this holy man on July 16.
