SAINT BALTFRID, RELIGIOUS
The name Baltfrid (Baldfrides, Baldfridus) is derived from the Old German, meaning "bold protector."
Saint Baltfrid was a monk and student of Saint Wandregisilus. Buc. Sppl.* lists him as Baltfridus with the title "Saint."
