BLESSED GERALD, BISHOP OF VELLETRI 


Blessed Gerald (Geraldus, Gerardus), who lived in the 6th century, was bishop of Velletri (Velitrae). In the latter place he is venerated as a patron saint, having passed to his eternal reward in the year 596. (El., Mg.)
