Saints celebrated on the 13th of May
SAINT MARCELLIANUS, BISHOP OF AUXERRE
Saint Marcellianus (Marcellinus) served as Bishop of Auxerre for 39 years, succeeding Saint Peregrine, the first bishop and martyr there. Marcellianus carried out the ministry with faithfulness and received eternal life as a reward on May 13, 314. The location of his grave is, according to Bucelin*, in St. Germain in Auxerre, but older reports believe that his resting place is in Monte Autrico (we were unable to establish the exact location). Marcellianus is also commemorated on July 7 (III. 203).
