WELCOME!
RICHARD FITZRALPH, ARCHBISHOP OF ARMAGH
Richard [FitzRalph], (remembered on December 21), was - already during his lifetime - so honoured as a writer and member of the Trinitarian Order that Pope Innocent III had him consecrated Archbishop of Armagh and Primate of Ireland, while Gregory IX made him Cardinal. He died in London [on December 16] and is listed in the Order's calendar.*
