SAINT BONIFACE, MARTYR
The name Boniface (Bonifatius) is derived from Latin, meaning benefactor.
Saint Boniface was a martyr in Cagliari, Sardinia, whose body was found in 1627 along with several others. He is commemorated on February 13.
