WELCOME!
SAINTS MANILIUS AND COMPANIONS, MARTYRS OF NUMIDIA
Saints Manilius and his Companions are listed on April 28 in the Martyrology of Saint Jerome*. The entry adds that they were killed for the Faith "in Numidia and elsewhere." We have no other details about them. Their names are: Manilius, Donatus, Maurilius (also called Maurolus and Maurinus), Lucianus (Lucanus, Lucalus), Victorinus (according to other copies, Victurinus, Victor, Victorius), Nicia, a virgin (she is also known without this title under the designation Nicea, Nica). 72 others, whose names have not been handed down to us, courageously suffered with them.
