BLESSED HERMAN, MONK AND CANTOR
Herman (Hermannus), commemorated on July 6, was a monk and cantor in Heisterbach. He is listed as "Blessed Herman" by Henriquez*, Chalemot*, and Bucelin*. Bucelin* relates of Blessed Herman that he knew the thoughts of others, frequently conversed with heavenly spirits, and possessed the most wondrous insight into sublime and divine matters. (II. 250)
