Saint Dalmatius, commemorated on November 13, was a bishop of Rodez (Rutenis) [Rhodez] in France. According to Migne*, he first saw the light of day in that city toward the end of the 5th century. While still very young, he was elevated to the episcopal see there in 524. Saint Dalmatius went to his eternal reward in 580.
