Saints celebrated on the 28th of July
WELCOME!
Saint Camelian (Camelianus) is commemorated on July 28. A Bishop of Troyes in Champagne, Camelian was a disciple of Saint Lupus and his successor in the episcopal see of that city. He attended the Council of Orléans in 511 and died either in 525 or 536. Some have considered him to be the same person as Saint Himerius (November 12), but this is incorrect, as the Bollandists* clearly demonstrate.
