SAINT DIGNA MERITA AND HER TWO SONS, MARTYRS OF BRESCIA
Saint Digna Merita and Her Two Sons, Martyrs, are commemorated on June 17. Saint Digna Merita and her beloved children suffered martyrdom in Brescia (presumably under Emperor Hadrian); the mother was beheaded, while her sons - whose names have not been handed down to us - were thrown from a window onto the street.
