PRAYER:

May the intercession of Saint Yzernaeus commend us to you, so that through his merits we may obtain that which we cannot accomplish by our own. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever. Amen.

¹POITOU

Poitou is a historical province in west-central France with Poitiers as its historic capital. Since 2016, the area is part of the administrative region of Nouvelle-Aquitaine. Its landscape features a mix of Atlantic coastal plains, rolling countryside, and the wet marshlands of the Green Venice (Marais Poitevin). The city of Poitiers, which sits on top of a hill, features Romanesque architecture like the Church of Notre-Dame-la-Grande and the Palace of the Dukes of Aquitaine.
