Saints celebrated on the 22 May
WELCOME!
SAINT GOSWIN, CHILD MARTYR
The name of this Saint Goswin (Goswinus), with the epithet "Boy and Martyr," features in several martyrologies under the date of May 22. He is said to have been killed for his Christian faith in Rome, yet his name does not appear in the
Roman Martyrology*. According to Ferrarius*, Cologne was the place of his martyrdom. The Bollandists* offer conjectures on this matter, which we shall, however, not go into in detail.
