SAINT LINENTIUS OF CHINON, HERMIT
On January 25, we also commemorate Saint Linentius, French: Saint Louent, a monk and hermit near Chinon. He lived in the 5th century and was a disciple of Saint Maximus of Chinon. This is according to Migne*; however, he may well be identical to the preceding Saint. At the very least, the Bollandists* do not specifically mention a holy hermit named Linentius of Chinon.
