Saints celebrated on the 2nd of November
SAINT MAURA OF KILMORE, VIRGIN
Saint Maura, a Scottish maiden who lived in the ninth century, founded a monastery which gave rise to the later town of Kilmore (Cellula Maurae). She died in A.D. 899, and is also listed in the Elenchus* with the addition proper Kuningam in Scotia. (mg)
