Saints celebrated on the 5th of July
FULBERT, RELIGIOUS - 5 JULY
Fulbert (Fulbertus), a young Benedictine novice at Corvey Abbey and disciple of Saint Anscharius [Saint Ansgar] was distinguished by wonderful patience and love.
He received a fatal blow from one of his sodalists and died an early death. Bucelin* counts him among the blessed martyrs. (Buc.)
