Saints celebrated on the 2nd of May
Blessed Sosthenius (Sosteneus), with the surname of Sostenei [Sostegni], was one of the seven noblemen in Florence, who founded the Servite Order there (in the year 1233), and out of love and veneration for the Sorrowful Mother renounced all earthly possessions. He is also venerated with his companions on [February 17].
