SAINT EUSEBIUS AND COMPANIONS, MARTYRS
Today, we also commemorate Saint Eusebius and Companions. The Roman Martyrology states:
"In the same place [Rome], the holy martyrs Eusebius, priest, Marcellus, deacon, Hippolytus, Maximus, Adria, Paulina, Neon, Mary, Martana, and Aurelia, who consummated their martyrdom in the persecution of Valerian, under the judge Secundian."
PRAYER:
Grant, we beseech you, almighty God, that the venerable feast of Saints Eusebius, Marcellus, Hippolytus, Maximus, Adria, Paulina, Neon, Mary, Martana, and Aurelia may increase our devotion and promote our salvation. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever. Amen.
