Saints celebrated on the 27th of January

SAINT MISSURIAN AND COMPANIONS, MARTYRS

The Old Martyrology of Saint Jerome* mentions Saint Missurian and Companions (Missurianus et Soc. M.M.) on January 27. They suffered in Africa. 

These are the holy martyrs' names: Missurianus, Publia, Victor, Quintillus, Publianus, Festus, Felix, Bonosus, Processus, Veneria, Marina, Fortunata, Tecussa, Godditis, Secundus, Epictulus (Epictula), Vincent, Rogatus, Primus, Aurelius, Hilary, Perpetua and Juliana. There are a further 24 unnamed Companions. (II. 769)

Morcellus* Martyrology Eccl. Afric. adds Avitus and Donatus to the list of these holy martyrs. The variant Epictula included above is taken from his work. It does not, however, contain any more details about these saints. (Afr. Chr. I. 361)
