SAINT GREGORY, BISHOP OF AUXERRE
In the early 6th century, Saint Gregory, the 10th bishop of Auxerre (Antisiodorum), ruled his church for twelve years. His successor was Saint Optatus. According to handwritten notes about the bishops of Auxerre, which were available to the Bollandist Sollier, Saint Gregory died on May 29. The Roman Martyrology* lists him on December 19. We could not find his name in Butler's works. (Mg.)
