SAINT CYPRIAN, BISHOP OF BRESCIA
Saint Cyprian (Cyprianus), a chief pastor of Brescia in northern Italy, is said to have been bishop of this city succeeding Paulinus and preceding Herculanus (i.e. around the year 552). His body, which is kept and venerated at the Church of Saint Peter in Oliveto, was exposed on the high altar in A.D. 1503.
