GERARD, RELIGIOUS AND MARTYR
Marburg |
According to Hueber's Menologium of the Franciscans*, Gerard (Gerardus) [Gerhard Lutzelkolb], a Franciscan, was killed in 1233 by the heretics as a companion of Conrad of Marburg. He is listed as "martyr" in the order's martyrologies. The Bollandists* merely mention his name, without providing any details.
