ALL SAINTS CELEBRATED IN NOVEMBER
Saints celebrated on the 26th of November
Saint Sebald (Sebaldus) is commemorated on November 26. Some sources list him as Sabandus and (erroneously) Sabaudus. This Saint was was Bishop of Trier (Treves, Triers) at the beginning of the 7th century, and, according to the Gallica Christiana*, the 28th in the line of succession.
When Saint Magnericus died in 596, he was succeeded by Gunderich (Gauderich), who was succeeded by Saint Sebald. The dates of the beginning and end of his episcopate are not entirely certain. His successor, Saint Severin (Severinus II) ascended to the episcopal chair around 622.
