SAINT ROMAEUS, CARMELITE
Saint Romaeus (commemorated on February 25 or 26, and March 4), was a Carmelite of Lucca and pilgrimage companion of Saint Avertanus. In his order's Martyrology* he is listed on March 4. His relics were kept at Saint Peter's Basilica (Maggiore) until 1513; they are now venerated at Saint Peter de la Cortina.
