SAINT ABADIR, MARTYR OF ANTINOE
Saint Abadir, a martyr at Antinoe in Egypt, was the brother of Saint Heraïs (or Rhaïs)[Herais]. Together with her and many other Christians - priests, deacons, and virgins - he was put on a ship, transported from Alexandria to Antinoe, and there put to death amidst cruel torments for the sake of the faith.
