Saints celebrated on the 9th of October
SAINT INGRID OF VADSTENA, VIRGIN
Saint Ingrid (Ingridis), commemorated on October 9, was a virgin of the Vadstena monastery (Vastanum). She is mentioned in the Life of Saint Bridget with the remark that in 1599, Charles IX. of Sweden had men searching for relics of this Saint (IV. 484).
