ST NIVITUS AND COMPANIONS, MARTYRS - 18 JUNE

  ALL SAINTS CELEBRATED IN JUNE Saints celebrated on the 18th of June WELCOME! SAINT NIVITUS AND COMPANIONS, MARTYRS S.S. Nivitus et Soc. M.M., (June 18). The Martyrology of   Saint Jerome *  and various other martyrologies list Saints Nivitus, Candidus, Cantianus, Cantianilla, Protus, Chrysogonus, Anteon, Quintianus, Theodolus, Jocundus, Silvius, martyrs in Lucamen (Basilicata). No other details are known of these holy men and women. The Roman Martyrology states:  In Africa, the holy martyrs Theodulus, Anesius,  Felix , Cornelia, and their companions. PRAYER: Grant to your Church, we beseech you, O Lord, through the intercession of your holy martyrs Theodulus, Anesius, Felix, Cornelia, and Companions, not to think high-mindedly, but to grow in humility pleasing to you; that, despising what is base, she may with unbounded love diligently do whatever is right.
